We are collecting pennies!  Bring your pennies in bags, cans, jars or rolled!  We'll put these donations to good use

Tin and Aluminum Can Recycling Program

Join us in our recycling efforts as we help our shelter and Community Living's Jobs'R'Us program.  Don't let
that 'money' go to waste in your recycling bin!  Drop off your tin and aluminum cans to us!  You can drop your
donations off at the shelter 24/7.  The bins for these donations are the large blue bins that line the old shelter.  The
more we collect, the more money we receive for us and for Jobs'R'Us.  It's a win-win for everyone!!

Boston Pizza Helps HSKL

When you eat a Boston Pizza, be sure to ask for two receipts when you get your bill.  Simply write 'HSKL' on the back of
one and put it in the box at the hostess station.  At the end of the season, Boston Pizza Lindsay will contribute 10% of
HSKL's receipts towards cash rewards.  What a great way to give to the shelter!

Come dine at Boston Pizza on June 5 from 5-8pm and have HSKL's Board of Directors wait on you!

Invite your friends, family, neighbours and co-workers to have dinner out!  Boston Pizza will be donating 10% of food sales made from the duration of this event!  What a great way to support a local restaurant and the shelter.

If you see our volunteers out tagging, please thank them for their time and consider giving. You will find our Tag Day volunteers at Food Basics, Canadian Tire, Valu-Mart and Loblaws in Lindsay.

June 14 &15 (Bobcaygeon Tag Days)

If you see our volunteers out tagging, please thank them for their time and consider giving. You will find our Tag Day volunteers at Foodland and Valu-Mart in Bobcaygeon.

Teeth, Talons and Tails

There is an amazing art show taking place at Art on Kent (41 Kent St West, above A Buy and Sell) in Lindsay. This is a third party event taking place to help raise funds and donations for us!

Opening night is May 10th, 6:00 to 8:30pm. There will be live music and a silent auction! Click HERE to view poster.

Strawberry Social

Yum!  It's that time again, time for delicious strawberries!
Have lunch with us, or enjoy our take-out option, as we raise funds for the shelter with our Strawberry Social.

The event will be held at the Queen St. United Church and the cost is $10 per person.

Dave Devall's Golf Tournament (Third Party Event)

Dave Devall will be hosting his golf tournament at Wolf Run.  This is a third party event, as the shelter is one of the charities he has chosen to be a recipient of the proceeds.
